Dangerous Ishq
Dangerous Ishq is a comeback film of actress Karisma Kapoor that has been in the news for quite some time now. All the karishma fans are going to love watching this movie. Karishma as usual looks ravishing and doesn’t show any signs of motherhood which is an added bonus for the karishma lovers,
If the trailer is anything to go by, then the film looks promising with an interesting storyline about births, deaths and rebirths. Karisma plays the protagonist Sanjana and is well supported by actors Jimmy Shergill, Arya Babbar, Divya Dutta, Rajneesh Duggal and Ruslaan Mumtaz. Karisma’s dual acts of portraying a village lasso and a modern girl also gives her ample space to spread her acting legs. The teaser is attractive and gives the plot an intriguing look. Though, a few people may find the reincarnation story a clichéd theme, there is certainly an element of thrill in this Vikram Bhatt production.
Vicky Donor Review
Starring Ayushmann Khurana and Yamini Gautam, Vicky Donor is a frothy, youth centric film with a humorous tone to it.
Nagged by his mother and pampered by his granny, Vicky is a laidback Delhi guy whom Dr. Chaddha, played by Anu Kapoor, hires as a sperm donor for his clients. But before long, trouble brews in the paradise and the audience is taken on a roller-coaster ride. Director Sujit Sarkar has done a laudable job by incorporating the right amount of humour in this film that subtly delivers a social message. The film is not didactic or preachy and can be enjoyed by the whole family together despite the controversial subject. The film tends to drag a bit towards the end but overall, it is a film that is definitely watchable.
Gabbar Singh Songs
The songs of Gabbar Singh especially the main track are peppy, rhythmic and foot-tapping. If you have a flair for good music, then you will certainly like these songs no matter what kind of music you prefer. The lyrics are catchy too and easy to remember.
Music is such that it will stay in the mind long after you have switched off your iPod. There is a hummable quality to the songs. The songs have a rawness to it which makes them deliciously romantic. The song has a rustic feel to it and the music is certainly foot tapping. No doubt, they will make you hit the dance floors with a vengeance, as if there is no tomorrow!!
Billa 2 trailer
Directed by Chakri Toleti and starring Ajith Kumar, ‘Billa 2’ is a much awaited prequel to the 2007 flick ‘Billa’. This Tamil film explores the raw side of the country’s underworld and focuses on the rise of a feared don David.
The trailer of the film is quite catchy and promises a slick and crispy film in the making. If you are a fan of action films, the film has loads to offer to you. This film may also see the popularity of actor Ajith soaring to new heights. In a subtle way, the film is reminiscent of Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Don 2’ where style and cinematography ruled the roost. The film promises to ba a great action flick and a treat to the eyes with the superb picturisation!
Ishq
If you are a fan of Bollywood music, and cannot get enough of its ‘masala’ magic, then the song ‘neend churai meri’ of the movie ISHQ from the multi starrer movie Ishq is one that you would not like to miss!
Even after being around for years, this is a song that manages to sound crisp and make you tap your feet. What makes this song all the more fun and lovable is the picturisation of then music video, with adorable couples of Juhi Chawla and Amir Khan and our own Bollywood’s favourite pair – Kajol and Ajay Devgan dancing away in perfect synchronization that still looks so natural!
What makes this music masterpiece all the more timeless is the fact that it can be easily played at not just clubs or parties, but it is one of the songs you can tune into in your ipod when you really cannot decide which mood you are in and what kind of music you would like to listen to !
Agneepath
Starring Hritik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra, with a famous Katrina Kaif Item number, this Karan Johar movie is an experience in itself!
Agneepath is beyond amazing, and should not hold you back even if you are not much into the ‘serious’ movie genre. Starting from the dialogues to the music to acting, from the locations and set ups to of course the story line, this movie is brilliant in every-way. It makes you shudder, makes you cry and sometimes even bleed inside- but it is a movie that takes you into a different universe altogether! Sanjay Dutt is a guy you would love to hate – that is of course if you are able to recognize him in his drastically transformed avatar!
Watch to get dazed!
Agent Vinod
Agent Vinod is a movie that is going to make you wonder if sitting back at home and watching the Sony television show CID might have been a much better use of your time. Unless you want to punish yourself and clean your karmic slate for doing something heinous, there is not much reason why you should go for this movie.
However , we can say that the movie does have some great action sequences and yes maybe some good music too – one of the treats you usually tend to get while watching a multi million budget movie these days. And of course if you are a Saif-Kareena fan, you might be able to stand this – (sigh!)- Yet another Hollywood copy for as much as 20 minutes. But seriously – why would you want to do this to yourself?!
Jannat 2 Songs
The songs from any of Emraan Hashmi’s movies have never disappointed us till date, and the songs of Jannat 2 are equally delightful. The songs from the movie do show a clear indication of many music talents coming together to create a beautiful album.
The songs, with their fine combination of Bollywood and Sufi music, can be best described with words like expressive and touching. The lyrics by Sayeed Quadri are very soulful, but the music by Pritam show hints of being a little repetitive.
The song Tu Hi Mera has the Sufi style written all over it. It is sung by Shafqat Amanat, but the beats might give you the impression of having heard them somewhere before. The vocals by Shafqat and the chorus to go with it are brilliant, and it is the kind of song that the music lover would like to keep humming.
Although Pritam has given us one more hit with Jannat 2 Album, we would like to see him experimenting on music a little bit more than this. He seems to be playing it safe, but it might not be such a great idea in the long run.
The number, Tera Deedar Hua is probability the best song of the movie, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s voice on the song is truly amazing. The song does give you a feel of qawwali, and the romantic flavor in it is quite mesmerizing.
The song Tujhe Sochta Hoon has been sung beautifully by KK, and the lyrics are deep and touching. Rab Ka Shukrana is another song by Mohit Chauhan that has a lovely flow to mellow your hearts.
Overall the Jannat 2 Album is sensational and melodious.
Housefull 2 – Songs
Apparently the movie, Housefull 2 is all about leaving our brains behind before going to the theatres. The songs are even sillier than that. Expectations were pretty high from the music directors, Sajid-Wajid after giving us some of the melodious numbers in Dabangg, but they seem to have lost the touch.
Anarkali disco chali felt more like a drag, since there was nothing new in it. It can be fun watching Malika move her hips for the song on TV, but not really the kind of song that you would want to download and listen with your friends.
Evidently the song Right Now is just another copycat job from Akon’s number Right Now. The name of the song has been retained, which makes Sameer’s (lyricist) creativity skills a questionable factor. The inspirational factor obviously is the popularity of Akon’s number in his India concerts. Maybe Sameer is piled up with many assignments, and the rush job is quite evident in the song.
The song Do You Know is another inspirational mix of many Hindi oldies, but the end result is definitely far from desirable. Even this so called romantic number, does not have the kind of appeal that it should.
Papa To Band Bajaye is probably the only number in the movie that shows slight traces of the entertainment quotient. The lyrics are rib tickling funny, if you are in the mood for a good laugh, but it is not the kind of song that builds up your mood.
Silliness is probably the best word that can describe the entire Housefull 2 album.
